Smart
The Seat Cushion Controller uses microelectronic
technology to lessen the likelihood of skin breakdown and ulceration
environments. This programmable, microprocessor controlled seating
among seated individuals in both institutional and independent living
product minimizes user/caregiver service by memorizing and maintaining
your internal cushion pressure set point. The controller alarms if
cushion pressure cannot be maintained for any reason. In addition, the
internal cushion pressure safely and periodically alternates above and
below the saved set point to dynamically increase both the overall
immersion depth and total user contact area.

Features:
The Seat Cushion Controller provides
a wide range of internal cushion pressure adjustments which uniformly
contours the cushion to meet the needs of individual anatomical
variances. On-board memory stores the optimal internal cushion
pressure as defined by Clinicians and Seating Specialists.
Alternating Pressure Resolution™ cycles the
internal cushion pressure slightly above and below the set point. The
main weight distribution area and immersion depth becomes greater for
intermittent, dynamic reduction of interface pressure.
Benchmark quality
control subroutines in the controller’s firmware code monitor the
cushion and activates different audible alarms if recognizable
anomalies occur that compromise user or product integrity. This code
also considers fluctuations of cushion pressure from normal weight
shifts and active motion to prevent false alarming.
Common, safe 9-volt DC alkaline battery
is easily replaceable and lasts for months under normal use
conditions. Low voltage alarm beeps when change of battery is required.

The Set Point Lock prevents changes
to your saved set point by deactivating the keypad
