Innoventor, Inc., an award winning engineering firm in St. Louis, is
growing! We are seeking both experienced Structural (Stress)
Analysis Engineers and a Structural Engineering Manager to support our
increasing workload. These are direct positions, not contract, with a full
service engineering company.

The ideal structural engineering candidates will possess the ability to
collect, organize and use data to assemble an analysis package. Experience in
classical hand analysis methods, a strong working knowledge of MS Excel
spreadsheets, and experience with writing Excel macros is required. The
ability to do “rough” sizing (intuitively) with reasonably close
accuracy is strongly desired. Candidates must be able to adapt to new analysis
software/tools as the customers’ needs change. Some knowledge of finite
element modeling, design coordination, and report generation is preferred.
Technical competencies:
- Experience with either military or large commercial aircraft
- 10+ years of experience in structural analysis
- Thorough understanding of design methods and traditional hand calculation techniques
- Knowledge of industry regulations and standards
- Understanding of qualification requirements and verification techniques
- Knowledge of the development process
Behavioral competencies:
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Team working skills
- Ability to solve issues that are not completely defined and involve multiple
technologies
- Highly motivated, efficient, and enterprising. Ability to drive tasks and
project to completion
Requirements:
- Mechanical Engineering or related (Aerospace, etc) Bachelor’s degree minimum
- United States Citizenship
