Innoventor in Renewable Power
Innoventor’s vision of developing into a World Class provider of
renewable power solutions is quickly becoming reality. After months of research, positioning and
relationship-building, Innoventor is now a critical cog in the development of
a utility-scale wind power project in Pike County, Illinois. Innoventor
along with Pearlstreet, Inc. formed Barry Energy Development LLC
(BEDL) to bring renewable power, and potentially large-scale
electricity storage. BEDL has teamed with Invenergy LLC
out of Chicago to develop the environmentally friendly and
economically viable wind resource in Pike and Adams counties, located
between the Mississippi and Illinois Rivers. As is typically done with
all independent power projects, a new company has been formed to
develop and operate this facility – Two Rivers Wind Energy LLC.
Innoventor brings a pool of talented engineers, Invenergy provides
funding and project development expertise, and the people of Pike
county get a huge economic shot in the arm.
Other pilot projects include swine manure to energy, and unique energy
storage systems.
